If you believe you've received an illegitimate inquiry (spam) from a student, and have not yet replied to the message, you can simply flag the message by clicking the Mark as Spam button at the bottom of your new message thread. A Wyzant team will review the student account in question and take appropriate action. Please note that marking illegitimate requests as spam does not affect your response time.
If you've replied to a message from a student, and later believe the student or request to be illegitimate, you should contact Customer Support, as the Mark as Spam button is only available for initial messages with no replies.
If you've received spam emails from a student's email who you believe may have been hacked, or is unaware that their address is sending spam, please contact Customer Support.
