What is the Wyzant Affiliate Program?
The Wyzant Affiliate Program is a way for you to earn a commission on leads you refer from your website to Wyzant.com using the linking options available in our platform. You’ll make money when a student follows an affiliate link from your website and completes the lead process, which includes messaging a tutor.
How much does it cost to join?
It’s completely free! All you need to do is sign up for a Wyzant partner account.
Why should I join?
By becoming an Affiliate partner you can help Wyzant with our quest to facilitate spreading knowledge, and you can make some money along the way! We give you the marketing tools necessary to be successful and let you decide how to advertise to your base. After all, you know them better than anyone! Plus, the payment potential is unlimited! Education has no bounds. Students registered on our platform range from traditional K-12, to college, to professionals looking to increase their skillset, and to retirees wanting to learn a new language for that once-in-a-lifetime trip.
How much can I make?
You earn a bounty for every qualified lead you refer to us. For a lead to qualify, they must sign up to register on our site and not already have a Wyzant account. The lead must be attributed from your website and they must also send a tutor a valid message through our platform. Those messages typically consist of a quick intro and any questions the student has about working with the tutor.

Do I need a website?
Yes! A valid website is required to work with our Program as it is designed to be a monetization tool for your content. Though you may also use your affiliate links on associated social media accounts. All websites wishing to participate in the Program are reviewed upon application to ensure they meet program eligibility.
Where can I find the Terms and Conditions?
You can find the Wyzant Partner platform T&Cs here. Please note that violation of the terms and conditions of the Program Agreement may result in termination from the Program and cancellation of any payments.
When will I be paid?
Payments are processed on the 15th of the month (or the subsequent business day if the 15th falls on a weekend or holiday) for fees generated during the prior month. For example, leads that occurred in January will be paid out on February 15th.
Please be aware that depending on your payment method, there will be additional time for the payment to be processed by your bank or for your check to arrive in the mail.
What are my payment options?
Currently, you can choose between a physical check or ACH.
How can I see my payment breakdown?
There are two places you can check to see your payment breakdown. First, you can view recent clicks and leads in the Reports section of your account. Second, you can view historical payments in the Account tab.
What kind of links are available?
The Wyzant partner platform offers multiple linking options. You’ll have access to traditional linking options like text and banners links, as well as three different search widgets to meet varying needs, including a full-page widget that shows tutors in the subject of your choice on your site. We also offer a full service API and datafeed to use to integrate tutors into your website experience for a natural feel.
Do you allow PPC bidding?
The Wyzant affiliate Program does not allow any PPC (Pay Per Click) or SEM (Search Engine Marketing). This also includes paid ads on social media networks such Facebook. Violation of this policy can result in the cancellation of the leads and removal from the Program.
Do I need to know how to code?
Our linking options are based in HTML, so you’ll need to know the basics in order to properly integrate them into your website. Adding our API or datafeed to your website will require more advanced coding knowledge.
I’m using the API, how do I convert the links to trackable URLs?
The partner API automatically takes care of this for you! Your unique tracking information will be placed in the returned links based off of your API key - no extra work is needed.
I’m using the API or Datafeed, how often should it be updated?
We recommend updating your database a minimum of once per week. That will ensure you have the most current data and access to new tutors listed on our platform.
Can I join if I live outside of the USA?
Wyzant.com currently only works with the US market. If you are internationally based but have a website that gets a majority of its traffic from the US, contact us for more information at partners@wyzant.com.
Do I need to disclose my Affiliate relationship on my website?
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires that material connections between Merchants (Wyzant) and Affiliates (you) are disclosed to customers. This applies to posts on your website and any social media accounts.

What Affiliate networks do you work with?
In addition to our direct partner platform, we also have a program on ShareASale. You may apply on whichever platform works best for you.
Can I become an Affiliate if I’m a tutor listed on the Wyzant platform?
Like any other Affiliate, if you have a website and want to promote tutors to your audience you may apply. Keep in mind, you will not be able to use both yourself as a referral and an Affiliate link at the same time. You will not receive Affiliate credit for a self-referral.

All you need to do to get started is apply to our Program! Our team will then review your application and get in touch if approved.
