You’re only charged after a lesson takes place.
Your tutor will submit a completed lesson to Wyzant, and you'll receive an email notification with the details. Your tutor may submit the lesson details up to 7 days after the lesson has concluded.*
At that point, a pending charge will appear on the credit/debit card or Paypal account you placed on file with Wyzant. If you have any questions about a charge, please review your Transaction History. If you still have questions, simply contact Wyzant Customer Support within 24 hours of your lesson.
You’ll receive a second email confirming the charge once the 24-hour timeframe has elapsed.
*If your tutor submits a lesson more than 7 days after the lesson occurred, you will have to approve or reject that lesson before you are charged. You are able to approve or reject the lesson directly from the email that you receive from Wyzant. If you reject the lesson, you will not be charged.
