How do I schedule a lesson?

We recommend using the Schedule an upcoming lesson page for scheduling lessons for your students. Using this page will allow the Wyzant system to send the student scheduled lesson reminders. The lesson you schedule through this page will also show up on your Calendar.

However, if you prefer to use your Calendar to schedule lessons, simply follow these steps:

1. Go to My Business, then the Calendar page.
2. Click the Add Lesson button in the top-right corner and select Schedule lesson.
3. In the pop-up modal, start typing the student’s name, and select the student’s name once it appears. 
4. Fill out all of the relevant details of the lesson (start time, end time, subject, etc.).
5. Click Schedule Lesson at the bottom to finish.

The student will receive an email letting them know that a lesson has been scheduled.

From the Calendar, you can also select lessons and choose to submit, edit, or delete them. 

To schedule a lesson from the iOS app:

1. After launching the app, tap the Lessons icon from the menu options at the bottom of the screen.
2. Tap the book icon in the top right corner of the screen, then choose Schedule an upcoming lesson.
3. Add in details to the Schedule Lesson page, including the student's name, subject, and start time and end time of the lesson. If this is a recurring lesson, you can choose how often you wish to repeat the lesson on a weekly basis.
4. Tap Next once all relevant information has been entered. If you would like, complete a brief lesson plan for your student. 
5. Confirm the lesson by tapping Schedule. The lesson you scheduled will now appear as Upcoming under the Lessons menu.

To schedule a lesson from the Android app:

1. After launching the app, tap on the three-bar menu option in the top left of the screen.
2. Tap on Lessons.
3. Tap on the orange plus sign in the bottom right, then select Schedule Lesson.
4. Add in details to the Schedule Lesson page, such as the student's name, subject, and start time and end time of the lesson.
5. Tap Done to complete scheduling. The lesson you scheduled will now appear as Upcoming under the Lessons menu.
