Student requests expire 24 hours after they are sent. If a student request expires, it will be removed from your Messages folder and placed into your Archived folder. The student will receive an auto-generated email letting them know of other tutors that are available to help them. You can still respond to the student by visiting the Archived folder of your Messages.
Please keep in mind that failure to respond to a student’s inquiry within 24 hours will affect your Response Rate, which can change your placement in search results. Replying “No” to a student’s inquiry has no effect on your Response Rate or placement in search results.
