All tutors will retain 75% of their posted hourly rate for lessons with students and Wyzant will retain a 25% Platform Fee.
Tutors who are approved to list their services at Wyzant must agree to the Independent Tutor Agreement (ITA), which includes specific information about Wyzant’s Payment Policies and the Platform Fee.
Additionally, Wyzant offers tutors listed on the platform the opportunity to refer new students to the platform. When a new student creates a Wyzant account and attends lessons with the referring tutor, that tutor receives 100% of their rate, with no fee percentage deducted. Please note that all lessons are subject to the 9% service fee, which is not calculated into hour totals.
