After you give a lesson to a student, you’re responsible for reporting lesson details to Wyzant. You may submit a lesson for payment through the website or the app, and all lessons must be submitted within two weeks after the lesson has taken place.
Once this information is submitted, we’ll notify the student, collect payment, and distribute your payment. There are two options for payment: direct deposit, or payment by check. Tutors are automatically signed up for payment by check, and these are mailed on the 1st and 15th of the month to the address listed in the tutor's account.
Direct deposit allows you to choose between two options, both free of charge. Semi-monthly direct deposits are made on the 1st and 15th of the month, and express direct deposit payments are processed within 6 business days after the lesson is entered.
